Your confidentiality is important to you, and it is important to us. The following outlines the process which Ludwig Financial uses to ensure that your time is not wasted, your confidentiality is maintained and that you achieve the best possible result when, ultimately, you decide to go forward on one of our many mandates. You direct this process.
Step I – Meeting at Ludwig Financial
Whenever physically possible, candidates will meet a recruiting consultant face-to-face. Expect to spend 1 to 1.5 hours going over your resume, going over in detail the types of firms that interest you (and the types that do not) and the various mandates at your level. If you are interested in any of the mandates, you can either consent to go forward on the mandate or request further information. This is a self-directed process – your resume will never be forwarded to anyone without your express consent.
Step II – Contact/Screen Potential Employer Firms
After agreeing upon which firms and how to contact them, Ludwig Financial will, upon your instruction, contact firms on a no-names basis in order to answer any questions that you might have at this stage and to ensure that, upon receiving a brief description of you and your skill set, the firms remain interested. After communicating their level of interest back to you, Ludwig Financial will seek your input as to whether or not you are prepared to go forward as a candidate. Only when you are thoroughly satisfied that you are interested in a position, and then only with your express permission, will your resume be submitted on a mandate.
Step III – Interviewing with Firms
When a firm expresses interest in meeting with you (and this is a relatively high probability after we screen the opportunity as set forth above), we arrange for a meeting with a representative of the firm. Depending on the level of your seniority, we can take many different approaches to help ensure your confidentiality. These steps include hosting the meeting at Ludwig Financial’s office, restricting the dissemination of your resume to a single person until after you have met with the firm and have agreed that you are both interested and need to bring others from the firm “into the loop” and/or discontinuing the process at any time if you feel uncomfortable about continuing. Firms are much more inclined to respect our process. Firms that do not respect it do not receive candidates from Ludwig Financial.
Step IV – Closing the Deal
If needed, Ludwig Financial will assist both sides with negotiating and closing your deal. With a wealth of negotiating and legal experience, we are ideally positioned to help you get the results you want quickly and efficiently.
